Konkana Sen Sharma is a National Award winner. She is a daughter of actress and director Aparna Sen Sharma.
Konkana had started her career as child actor. As adult actress she started her career with Bengali movies and was in the English movie Mr and Mrs Iyer which was directed by her mother.
This movie did moderately at the box office. But Konkana Sen Sharma received very good fame and craze with this film. Later she got good offers from Bollywood. Page 3, Life In Metro and Omkaara are the notable hits in her career.
Recently we saw her with Farhan Akthar in Luck By Chance. She made a cameo appearance in Fashion which starred Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse. Mirch, 8, Amavas and Wakeup Sid with Ranbir Kapoor are her upcoming movies.
